What You Should Know About Joyce & John Freese Before You Hire Them:

Joyce & John have been working as a team since Joyce was 16 and John was 17 years old. They went to the same high school, Waukegan High, in Waukegan IL and went on to graduate from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. Prior to becoming Realtors/Brokers, John was a practicing CPA, and Joyce was an English teacher.

Mid-life, they switched careers and went into the Real Estate profession. Joyce is a Specialist in Marketing Solar homes. She is a Certified Consultant in selling homes with solar, along with her expertise  in traditional sales and short sales (SFR & CDPE Designations). John’s specialty is working with Buyers as a Buyer’s Agent. John, along with his financial background (CPA), also works with investors from multi-units to land acquisition. He also handles REOS (bank owned) properties in the valley and holds a CDPE designation as a specialist in marketing REOS.

This year, Joyce was honored by the National Association of Realtors with the professional distinction of REALTOR Emeritus for her many years of service to her clients.

After many years of being with RE/MAX & designated as a member of their Hall of Fame Club, they opened up their own office, Callie Shay Realty, named after their 2 granddaughters, Callie and Shay. They live in Phoenix with their 2 little dogs.
